Self Examination

Our reading today is Proverbs 25-26. Have a great and lovely day.

Just a few scriptures to reflect on. The first is restated in the New Testament about the seating at the marriage feast.

Pro 25:7  For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.

This second one is how to treat an enemy.

Pro 25:21  If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

22  For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

This last is about self control

Pro 25:28  He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

O GIVE THANKS

Our reading today is II Chronicles chapters 6-7 and Psalms 136.

Psalm 136:1 – O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. This Psalm has so much to say about giving thanks and all the things for which we should be thankful for. 26 times we read “for his mercy endureth for ever. I am so thankful that we have a God who loves us and extends His mercy toward us that are so undeserving.
